A gazebo is usually built in the shape of an octagon, but with the help of the right hexagonal gazebo plans, you can build a distinctive gazebo with six sides. It will add an inimitable charm to your garden. Although it may seem intimidating, it is really easy to plan and build. Making this structure is quite similar to making an octagonal one. The following are the instructions you can use to create one yourself.

Base: A simple foundation can be easily created with concrete. Select a suitable place for your gazebo. A hexagonal gazebo has a distinctive shape and may or may not fit into any environment. A suitable place will enhance its beauty and grace. Clean this place thoroughly. Remove weeds, rocks and stones if any. Dig the mounds of earth and fill in the holes. Try to avoid landslides and ditches. Now you can lay tiles, wooden floors, etc. on this layer of concrete to give it a sophisticated touch. Your cast area should be about 10 square feet. Let it dry for a day.

make holes: The next step in these hexagonal gazebo plans is to dig holes around the circle you created earlier. Top: Now you need a set of 6 wooden posts. These should not exceed 74″ in height. You also need a small wooden beam to serve as a center. Screw these 74″ posts firmly to the center one at a time. You must keep in mind to maintain an angle of 45 degrees. A hexagonal cone will form. Lift this cone over the top of your posts with some help so that each corner matches up. Pin these posts.

Ceiling: Measure the triangular window as spaces made by each face of the hexagonal top. Trace this onto plywood. Cut six of those pieces accordingly. Nail each of these from the inside to the top, then apply the shingles. So, according to your hexagonal gazebo plans, you are done.
