Committed for Better Business

Salvation for a Christian must be rich and abundant. Because we are so carnal and human that we think about money and wealth. The salvation that is abundant is far above and beyond the value of money. You can have Heaven now, this very moment!

A church located near our house had a sign on the bulletin board: The basic ingredient of a Christian is love. Well, that’s wrong according to the Bible. Love is not just the result of a person becoming a Christian. Sinners can also have love and show love for someone. The main attribute or ingredient is righteousness. Without Holiness no man can see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14)

Joy is the result of righteousness

And there was great joy in that city. (Acts 8:8) Remember the Bible story of how God sent Philip to preach some evangelism? A revival broke out and many were saved, healed, delivered from demons, all kinds of miracles. He created abundant Christian joy of salvation.

Throughout the New Testament in the Holy Bible, we find that those Christians who determined to be obedient to God were completely happy. Yes, they too had problems, however, Jesus is their strength. In fact the Bible says, Joy is your strength. (Neh.8:10)

Being famous and loaded with Cash is not happiness:

Elvis Presley, a household name around the world, had fame and fortune. He was even adored by teenagers. He was 42 years old, in the year 1977, victim of a heart attack due to his addiction to so many drugs. He left his wealth behind. Happiness? No way!

The very popular Ricky Nelson, fame, fortune, whatever he wanted. In 1985, a plane ride died due to plane crash. They found traces of cocaine on his body. This took place on New Year’s Eve. Happy and full of joy? I will say no!

The big star, Brian Jones, played guitar for the Rolling Stones. Barely 26 years old, he drowned in 1969. He was high on drugs and liquor. Did he have abundant Christian salvation? No way! He was happy? Nope!

Money, sex, fame don’t create happiness – Here’s the proof

The famous singer, Janis Joplin, was heard to say: I’m so afraid of losing everything, so afraid it won’t last, that I’m going to live it. This 27-year-old singer died in 1970, losing everything to a heroin overdose. Glad? This is not where happiness lives.

One of the group of the Beatles, John Lennon, boasted that the Beatles were more popular and famous than Jesus Christ. Christians know better according to the word of God.

Here is the abundant salvation for Christians:

A man who had a wife and 2 children, went out, got drunk, came home and abused his wife leaving marks where he hit and kicked her. The children were so afraid of him that they would hide for hours until he fell asleep. Passing a tent one night, he heard gospel music and people singing, washed in the Blood of the Lamb. He staggered in and sat down as the preacher began to preach. Halfway through the message, now completely sober, he went to the preacher’s feet and fell, crying out to God to have mercy on his soul.

Came in high on alcohol, and came out high in Jesus, saved and washed in the Blood of the Lamb. Walking through the door, his wife staggered back and his children ran to hide. With tears streaming down his face, he fell at his wife’s feet, begging for forgiveness. He explained that he had just been saved. He also begged his little children to forgive him. He spent the rest of his life treating his wife and children like the most precious of jewels. He won many in his community to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. As the fairy tales say, they lived happily ever after.

This is abundant salvation for Christians and turns you from living like a devil to living like a saint.
