Committed for Better Business

We have motivation. We “do as we’re told,” but our body is still not to our liking and is holding us back from our lives.

And so we get frustrated and mad at ourselves, we react and jump to something different, or we just stop altogether.

The world we live in today is fast-paced, which means we want instant gratification.

Quick fixes don’t work
But what is the dark side behind these “magic button”, “get rich quick” and “crash diet” techniques?

They rarely work!

One thing I run into with many of my clients is that they always ask me, “Ekemba, what is the one thing I can do to get a great reward?”

And I think that’s one of the most disjointed ideas we have today about what it takes to take care of your body.

Everyone wants to live a good life and have their body not get them down, but help fuel it.

But there is a big problem with the information that comes out. Everything is disjointed and designed around marketing first, not what is actually needed.

You see, to really take care of your body, you need to have a plan…

When I started working out, it was for sports. The goal was to be good at the sports you played.

Then after, I wanted to lose weight and gain muscle.

Then I had to train to correct my injuries and imbalances.

All those programs are different. But we are told that they are all interchangeable and that they are “tools in our toolbox”, and thrown at us under the guise of “changing it”. When, in reality, it’s hard to fit them together and it takes time for each program to take effect.

Follow the path that is right for you
It wasn’t until I was forced to step back to correct my injuries that I began to study the rules and philosophies designed for the body to function at its best that I saw where the health and fitness industry was leading us wrong. road.

It’s easy to feel like you’re doing what you’re supposed to because you’re active and the workouts you and everyone else are doing make sense.

But just because some of the information is correct doesn’t mean it’s completely correct or entirely correct for you.

Because now, the health and fitness industry is such an imitative industry… it’s easy to fall into a rut.

If you don’t really know what you’re doing, or if your only reference is that you move and exercise…

Most likely, you will not really achieve your goals.

Usually, to get that satisfaction that you have achieved what you really want, you have to do what others don’t.
